PROFI, Zelenina SEMO - Okurka setá salátová, p2400 (Cucumis sativus L.)

Cucumber is a crop of the first track. It requires warm, clay, organic soil. Because of its weaker root system it is demanding for balanced moisture regime. SEMO has an important cucumber breeding programme, focusing on American slicers, Beit Alpha cucumbers and medium-long and long cucumbers for indoor production. Through this programme new pickling (spined and smooth), mainly parthenocarpic varieties, are introduced to our catalogue every year. All new varieties have high resistance to all the significant cucumber diseases.
